Like many a SF Giants fan, I’m still giddy over the fantastic run that the team had resulting in the World Series win over the Texas Rangers back on Nov 1st, 2010. Even though it was great fun watching and experiencing the downtown parade live and I keep getting my fix by re-watching the key moments, interviews and celebrations over and over again on my Tivo, I’ve started to look through the various MLB.com videos which are conveniently split into clips. The cool thing about these clips is that the main highlights run in 3 consecutive commentaries. The FOX TV Broadcast (yuck), the KNBR calls (yeah!) and the Rangers station calls (Sorry guys).Just for fun, I sampled the two great calls from the last Game 5 and created M4R files which can be used as ringtones on your iphone. If you feel like reliving the last strikeout by Wilson and the historic call by KNBR’s Dwayne Kuiper or the 3 run home run by Renteria called by Dave Flemming, you can download them below.
When you click the links and select open, the M4R extension files should automatically add to the Ringtones folder of your iphone by launching itunes. Then you just have to sync with your iphone and then you can set the ringtone for a particular contact or generically as the default for your phone by going into Settings > Sounds > Ringtone
