For many people, the beginning and end of this decade was mired with massive job losses, 401k value depreciation and plummeting home values. However for tech titans and few up and coming wannabies, the decade marked significant milestones and continuing progress in their businesses despite the economy.
Just for fun I’ve decided to create a technology Sweet Sixteen midnight madness faceoff between some of the key players. I’ll update each round over the next few weeks in a new blog post until we have an ultimate winner for the decade. Note that some of the match ups aren’t necessarily direct competitors, and a few are relatively new and haven’t been around for more than 10 years, but just to keep things interesting and juicy to see if there might be some upsets David vs. Goliath or if some more recent companies are so compelling that they win out in the minds of some voters.
